Component Management in SAM means that you have complete control of all your rotable components; both those installed on the aircraft, those available for installation and those out for overhaul, repair etc.
The Component Management module gives you higher lifetime through improved reliability and advanced cost control
An important part of the component module is the ability to build and handle component groups defined as two or more components mounted as one unit.
With SAM you will be able to manage each of these components as parts in a group available for installation or removal.
