Q: Can SAM handle groups of components?
A: Yes! SAM support multi level Component Grouping (including group installation history recording!)
Q: Are all maintenance actions on a component recorded and traceable?
A: Yes! Every Component installation and removal, as well as the compliance of tasks and modifications on the component are recorded and shown in the Component History Viewer
Q: Are applicable AD’s or SB’s attached to the component as well or only on the Aircraft it is installed on?
A: Applicable AD's, SB's, etc. are attached to either the airframe or components subject to the service document. Component AD/SB can be viewed from the Aircraft to which the component is installed but in case of component removal, the AD/SB moves with the component.
Q: is there a way we can monitor the devaluation of each component money-wise?
A: Yes! SAM does monitor the financial devaluation of all components giving you an instant status report at all times.
